The smart city concept in this case integrates initiatives in energy efficiency, waste management, water management, sustainable urban mobility and urban regeneration, and includes monitoring sensors and a central municipal control centre. This can be regarded as a good practive example of an integrated municipal approach to smart cities with regard to the management of urban utilities. However, the resourse is only an overview and more research may be necessary to gather information on specific initiatives.
